Fun Summer for Me!

I feel like I was a little spoiled this summer and it was good! I enjoyed my little times away, but was always ready to be home with my family.

My college room mates and I planned months ago to "do something." So, we settled on the wonderful Lemon family cottage in Michigan and spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday there. It was wonderful! Andi spoiled us and made amazing food for each meal and of course we had none other than Lemon Creek Winery wine at our finger tips. We had no plans, no agenda and just plain sat around and talked and relaxed. Ahhh.....

What a blessing to have these friends that I met 15 years ago still close to my heart. It's hard to come by and I know I'm thankful for it.


In July, Scott and I went up to St. Jospeh, Michigan for a quick weekend get away with our friends Ryan and Allison.
We enjoyed a great day at the Lemon Creek Winery and Jazz Festival (thanks Andi for the putting us on the "will call list." We loved it!


Last weekend for my birthday Scott surprised my by planning a girl night getaway with my friends Abby and Allison. So, we headed out to Oakbrook and had manis/pedis, ate a great meal at Uncle Julio's Hacienda and hung out at the hotel and watched "Bridesmads." We had so much fun!
So, there you have...I'm spoiled!
