A Day At The Beach

Today the kids and I drove up to St. Joseph, MI to spend the day with my friend Andi and her kids Henry and Hazel. They live five minutes from the beach and so we joined the fun. This is an everyday adventure for them but for the Bille three this was a whole new experience. They had never been to the beach before! (Well, the beach on Lake Michigan which is the beach to me.) They absolutely loved it, sand and all!

My sand girl Adri, this is what she did the whole time.
Look, a sea gull! Oh look they're trying to get our food...pesky things.
Trott was in the water the whole time or chasing sea gulls. He loved the waves!
Bree did a little of this and a little of that....visited strangers, padded down the beach, plopped down in the works of arts of kids playing, sat in strangers chairs and heard a lot of "oh, she's cute!" Mmmhmm, that's what I say too.
