Trott has been working very hard this week on building a robot. The robot is the two big buckets put together and the nets are his hands. The robot is full of treasures inside and his hair was made up of leaves. I can't believe how long he worked on this the other day. I love when he has a plan and keeps busy with one thing for an extended period of time.
The next day his project was to make a "robot home." This kept him busy for at least an hour. He used twine and a bunch of chairs and wound it round and round to make the home. I thought it was quite imaginative. He wanted to go outside at 7:00 this morning to work on it some more!
We have a ton of leaves falling in our yard and so we've been doing a lot of raking and a lot of playing in the leaves. The kids love to be buried in them and then they pop out and are "leaf monsters" and chase me...scary.
Here they are in action jumping in the pile. Today Trott and I filled 5 bags of leaves and we still aren't done. It's been fun and beautiful outside and I love it!
We had friends over today which was a blast. Here are Adri, Trott, Cheyenne and Cody. We are so thankful for our friends!

what a beautiful family! it was a great fall...while it lasted. give me a call if you find some free time, it's been too long.
