The week ahead

The kids and I are heading to Michigan this week for a few days. We love being able to have the chance to go for a few days while Scott is busy working and then come back on Saturday and still have half the day and the rest of the weekend to spend as a family. Scott enjoys a litttle quiet time around the house too and has plenty of projects to do that will be so much easier if we're gone! He's always ready for us to come back though, which is a good thing:) Life without your family around just doesn't cut it.
I have to get my haircut so that's what I'm looking forward to. Yes, I go to MI to get my haircut. It's so much cheaper! I'm not telling the kids we're going until the day before. Trott will drive me crazy otherwise. He's already driving us crazy with talk of Tuttle Lake. That's the lake we go to in Wisconsin the first week of June. Scott gets so excited that he counts done for 10 weeks before...seriously. And so Trott just can't wait that it's less than 3 weeks away now. He literally keeps asking me a couple times an hour if it's time to go. Well, I shouldn't even say he asks me, he tells me it is time to go to Tuttle Lake. I keep telling him it's not open yet, but that doesn't seem to be working. Oh well, the time will fly I'm sure.
